Biography

Iffat Zareen Ahmad has completed her PhD at the age of 28 years from University of Allahabad. She is the Professor of Bioengineering at Integral University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. She is working on a new methodology for biodiversity assessment in the different cyanobacteria on the basis of UV-protecting compounds to be used as sunscreen for skin care. The efficiency of these techniques will be compared against the “classical” methods for production of UV-protectants and monitoring the biodiversity.
